Chelsea Rovers FC

Chelsea Rovers FC is a grassroots football team that plays in the 13th tier of English football. The London-based club, founded in summer 2018, are compose of players whose day jobs are teachers, interior designers, students, etc.

#Appearance on Korean TV Show ‘Sooro’s Rovers'

This variety show follows Kim Soo-ro as he personally meets the footballers that belong to his new football club known as the Chelsea Rovers.
KBS2’s “Sooro’s Rovers” tells the story of actor Kim Soo-ro as the president of English grassroots football club Chelsea Rovers FC.
The programme shows how Kim and other members of the board struggle to manage the club. They hope to advance to the 9th tier, where the team would play at a semi-professional level. The Friday night show which aired its first episode on June 21 has so far marked average viewership of 3.1%.

#Promotion

The Rovers won their first league in club history in 2022, becoming the champions of the Surrey South Eastern Combination and securing promotion to the 12th tier after winning against Selhurst in the last match of the season.

#Mention by the BBC

Chelsea Rovers was mentioned by BBC Sport in their matchday broadcast of the 2022 FA Cup Final as the winners of the league Wanderers FC, the first ever FA Cup winners, played in during the 2021-22 season.

#Promotion

The club founded by two Koreans and currently managed by a Serbian and Portuguese consists of players from more than 10 different nationalities and even more cultures from around the world.


Wanderers FC

Wanderers FC is one of the London's oldest football club and the first FA Cup winners. The club was founded in 1859, were founder members of the Football Association in 1863. Their goal is to return to the FA Cup.

#Long History

Wanderers were formed in 1859, were founder members of the Football Association in 1863.The club was originally formed as Forest Football Club in 1859 by a number of former public school pupils. Forest Football Club became the Wanderers Club in 1864.​

#First FA Cup winners

They were the first FA Cup winners in 1872, and again in 1873, 1876, 1877 & 1878. Wanderers are tied for 9th place with Everton and West Bromwich Albion for the most FA Cup wins.

#Raised a crowdfunding to create football pitch

The club have launched a crowdfunding campaign to create a brand new school football pitch with the intention to deliver additional facilities to a school and ensure more people could play in a safe and beautiful environment by converting unused school playing fields into football pitches. They not only reached their fundraising goal, but surpassed it. Impressive!  

#Club Reformation

Wanderers was dissolved in 1887. However in 2009, they reformed in south London and raised money for charity.

The club run 3 men's teams and a women's team, along with regular training sessions; Men's 1st XI, Women's 1st XI, Men's 2nd XI, Men's 3rd XI, Men's Legends, Men's Sunday VI
